General Application Guide

The softer the coat, the finer the gap between the blades. The longer the coat, the finer the gap between the blades

Short coated dogs use the finest gap. For Long & Wire coats first use a course Coat King and then the fine one.

A good general guide in helping you decide the Coat King that best suits your need is:

Super Fine (20-26 Blades) are best for finishing and for thick coats ( especially Spaniel breeds).

Fine (16-20 Blades) for grooming heavy coats.

Coarse (8-12 Blades) are great for preparitory work as well as thinning out undercoat.
